Handbok för entreprenörer

A handbook for entrepreneurs, with particular attention to founders of international and immigrant backgrounds. Ivan Daza combines interviews with business builders in Sweden and practical chapters on finding an idea, starting a company, financing it, making sales, assembling a team and developing a network.

Its opening chapters connect diversity to business opportunity. Later sections move from individual entrepreneur stories to everyday decisions: business plans, customers, pricing, negotiation, branding and growth. The original text is in Swedish.

Who is this handbook for?

It is aimed at current and aspiring entrepreneurs, especially readers interested in the experience of founders with immigrant or international backgrounds in Sweden. The case studies and practical chapters offer perspectives rather than a single formula.

Yes. It discusses business ideas, planning, ownership, financing, selling, teams, negotiation and branding. It is a historical publication; check current regulations, tax rules and support programmes with the relevant authorities.

Is the full book available in English?

No English translation is included here. This page provides an English overview. The complete searchable web edition and both PDF versions are in Swedish.

What is Tillväxtverket’s connection to the book?

The introduction credits Tillväxtverket and Blatteförmedlingen with financing the handbook. Project documents and a contemporaneous email place approval of the handbook project in 2008; the available 112-page PDF was prepared in 2010.
